What is crab rangoon?

Crab Rangoon is a deep-fried dumpling traditionally served in American Chinese Restaurants. Wonton wrappers are stuffed with flaked crab, cream cheese, and spices, then deep fried. There are two theories as to their beginnings. One is that they were introduced at the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis and were named after Rangoon, the capital city of Burma. The other is that Crab Rangoon was introduced in the 1950s by Trader Vic's, a chain of polynesian style restaurants that started in Oakland, CA. All we know is that they are delicious!

I forgot that I had your product in the freezer, and don't remember when I bought it. How do I know if it is still good?

Our products are guaranteed to stay wholesome [if kept frozen] for one year from their date of manufacture. If you look at the end flap on our product, there will be either an embossed day code or sticker. That number is a Julian date code for the date of manufacture. The last number represents the year and three numbers before that represent the date.

For example:
00107 is the first day of 2007 or January 1, 2007.
If the code is 12407, it is the 124th day of the year 2007.

The store we usually buy your product at no longer stocks it. Where can we buy it?

Some retail chains or club stores will take the product in for the holidays and then discontinue it afterwards. You can either e-mail us or call us toll free at (888) 726-4666 and we will direct you to someone who carries it year round.

I'm having a party for 20 people. How many appetizers do I need?
